In 1998 I visited NYC to locate some promotional materials for the few old public domain films I had. At one of the shops I got into conversation with the owner and I told him that we had been uplinking our films via our in-house satellite project, WeatherVision, and had found a market for them.

After getting home from that trip within days...I got a phone call from the shop owner, he told me that a friend of his in NY who owned a complete 450 public domain library of masters was interested in selling out. I was back on the jet to NYC and soon bought the library.

Since in the public domain game the quality is what makes them marketable, our films are sought after, they are 1" masters from the 35 mm stock in most cases. We have sold copies to Mark Cuban when he first started Broadcast.com, many Television stations and all over the world. China, India and many other countries have bought from us.
